I’m a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Digital Economics research group at ZEW Mannheim. I obtained my PhD in 2026 from the University of Cologne.
In my research I tackle problems in the fields of political economy and applied microeconomics. I study how information, expectations, and digital market structures shape economic behavior, especially in settings of news markets. To do this, I combine the economic toolkit with modern machine learning and causal inference methods.
